The Pittsburgh law firm of Richards & Richards was established in 1968 by the late John Richards Jr. The firm is now managed by his children Veronica A. Richards and John T. Richards III. The firm has four attorneys, each with their own unique qualifications, who have all been recognized as top Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. We are dedicated to helping people down the path to a better tomorrow.
Diverse Practice Groups
Richards & Richards LLP has two distinct practice groups.
Attorney Veronica A. Richards, who oversees the medical malpractice department, worked as a nurse practitioner and hospital administrator before joining the law firm as an attorney. Attorney Sandra S. Neuman brings years of experience in doctor and hospital negligence cases. The medical malpractice team works to review every suspected case of medical malpractice that resulted in serious injury or the death of a loved one. Both attorneys have been selected as Top 50 Lawyers in Pittsburgh and Top 50 Women Lawyers in Pennsylvania.
John T. Richards III and Jennifer Rea Abel handle the estate planning and real estate practice.
Standing Up For Injured Patients Throughout Pennsylvania
In addition to our ability to review medical documents and understand the jargon used by health care professionals, we regularly consult with recognized physicians, medical specialists and nurses for input in evaluating clients' treatment, recovery and need for future medical services.
Because of our strong belief in improved patient safety by holding physicians and medical professionals accountable to the patients they treat, we are very selective about the cases we agree to take. Our clients generally come to us with the most severe types of injuries and suffer long-term disability as a result of medical negligence. Because we recognize that many of the cases we decline to take do have merit, we try to help clients get representation from other qualified medical malpractice attorneys in the area.
